Matthew Parish
Matthew Parish began his international rowing career in 1989 with a gold medal at the Junior World Championships. He went on to compete at the Under 23 World Championships, winning gold medals in 1991 and 1992. Graduating to the GB senior team in 1993 he raced in the eight at the World Championships from then to 1995, and his international career culminated with an appearance at the 1996 Olympic Games.
Matthew has won three Henley Royal Regatta medals and was in the winning Boat Race crews for Cambridge in 1994 and 1995. He began his working life a few weeks after the 1996 Olympics at the surveying firm Weatherall Green & Smith (now Atis Real), and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1999. Since 2006 he has been Group Surveyor at ITV.
